Description
Van Thiel is a small company in Squinzano, in the heart of Salento, and produces a single wine, a primitivo of incredible quality.
The grapes are harvested on several occasions and the vinification takes place in steel tanks, followed by a short passage in barrique for a few months to then conclude maturation in the bottle.
Van Thiel’s Primitivo del Salento is a full-bodied and structured wine that is easy to drink; the high alcohol content, typical of the wines of this area, is almost not perceived, for a soft and velvety sip, with a long persistence.
